- nprateem 3y agoIt makes it easier to find work if you're a right-wing bigot
- samtheprogram 3y agoOr you can find work with sane people who don't think anyone on Twitter is a right wing bigot.

- breakyerself 3y agoThere's no right wing bigots on Twitter?
- rvz 3y agoAssuming you have read the guidelines, don't be silly with such swipes. You know that not everyone on Twitter is a so-called 'right-wing bigot' as you're trying to project. > Comments should get more thoughtful and substantive, not less, as a topic gets more divisive. - muglug 3y agoI got my current job by DMing someone on Twitter two and a half years ago.
- _delirium 3y agoIn academia it's pretty common to advertise job openings on Twitter. In addition to posting them everywhere else, but Twitter is a good place to find them in my experience (more than LinkedIn). Especially because they often get rewteeted & quote-retweeted into networks of relevant people who might not have been directly reached by the initial posting. Not sure if this is common with other types of jobs, but I wouldn't be that surprised.
