Show HN: Investor radar, the ultimate database of investors for your startup
- makk 3y ago> Through a mix of primary and secondary research, we identified thousands of investors from every edge of the glope. We then verified and validated the data. We did not, however, run a spellcheck on our site.
- jonathankoren 3y agoNo. They did not. I’ve found five other errors, and I’m not even looking hard. All I did was remember one, and then reread what I copy and pasted for unrelated reasons.
- microperambler 3y agoQuite verbal about your discontent and I understand there is a standard that a paid product should uphold, sadly a few things slipped through the cracks.
- jonathankoren 3y ago>Why can't I see Emails[sic] or Phone Numbers[sic]? >On our free or starter plans data is viewable is limited. You can always upgrade to get access, but if emails are still missing it may be because the investor doesnt have an email on record due to GDPR concerns or other reasons. . Wait. So you have to pay extra to find out if the contact information even exists? And what is this “doesnt[sic] have an email on record due to GDPR concerns or other reasons. .[sic]”? That’s not how the GDPR works. That’s not how it works at all. You bought this information form a data broker and didn’t do any vetting of it didn’t you?
- microperambler 3y agoNo, if you login to the platform you can click the contact tab on an investor and check. Also we allow you to filter by "has email" or "has phone number" etc.
- skeptrune 3y agoIf this is even close to Pitchbook, it's insane. Holy hell
- SaaSCowboy 3y agoLooks cool, mind telling me what differentiates this from PBook/CBase, etc
- microperambler 3y agoPricing essentially and target audience. This tool is for startups with limited funding. Pitchbook is not exactly cheap, and beyond that its more targeted for Investors looking for startups. Crunchbase is an alternative, but with a similar pricing tier we provide solely investor contacts along with Instant Search capability.
