Kind of interesting that at that location it'll get fed from UC Davis grads more than UC Berkeley.
- alephnerd 3y agoPlenty of people who work in the city of Berkeley, as well as for the city of Berkeley and UC Berkeley live in Solano County. I have a family friend who works for the city of Berkeley and lives in Fairfield for example. It's part of the Capital Corridor so it's commutable to both the Bay Area and Sacramento, the schools are decent, and the houses are nice and new.
- dragonwriter 3y agoNot really; sure, its a bit closer to Davis, but its close enough to both that which it gets fed by will be determined more by the kinds of jobs in demand compared to the program strengths of the schools, with distance as a trivial factor.
