Nearly every USB-C connector I've used, on multiple devices of different manufacturers, has eventually encountered problems. Google's connectors are particularly bad. Hahaha Assuming I know what you are talking about, yes, their cables suck. The plastic/rubber degrades way faster than other cables, turning yellow and eventually splitting open after just a few years.
