Dangerous drivers and motorcycles are more common than ever, my neighbor in a nice neighborhood was car jacked at gun point and police were annoyed she called. The worst example was police taking 2hrs to show up after a friend was hit by a drunk driver... by the time they bratholized the drunk driver she was already under the limit. For me, I'm far more worried about license plate scanners on police cruisers than FLIRs on helicopters (they've had this tech since 2006).
