This is incredible, however with property values plummeting and MA heavily relying on property taxes from Boston and wealthy suburbs you have to wonder how the state will pay for this after running a huge defecit. I miss MA but not the winters!

Not sure your info on the Commonwealth’s fiscal situation is up to date. Boston area property values are NOT plummeting. Inventory is very slightly higher due to interest rates. But it’s not like housing has suddenly become affordable. MA property taxes are actually pretty low compared to places like NH. MA was forced by statute to return money to the taxpayers last year, they actually over-collected income tax. So I don’t think revenue is a problem.
