Wouldn't the height of the swingset be a factor? I imagine if the swing is suspended from 50m you can continue winding up for a long time and jump from a height of 15+m which would give you a lot more horizontal movement before you hit the ground. I mean the article doesn't say anything about calculating the farthest survivable jump from a swingset
