Ask HN: Developers, how do you use your iPad?
I just got a used M1 iPad Pro, and I’m trying to find ways to use it for development to have a lighter alternative to my Mac. Are there any solutions that you find work best for getting work done? Is it simply not worth the effort?

I do most of my programming and system admin work over ssh. With a bit of work you can use VS Code on an iPad to work with code on a remote server, a GitHub repo, a containerized repo. I sometimes take my iPad traveling or to coffee shops to work, leaving my Macbook behind. With the Magic Keyboard it works great for what I do.
