Allulose is not a poison by any measure, but if you're so paranoid about what your children eat why feeding them with instant foods like FruitLoops in a first place? Breakfast cereals are highly processed food, even without any added sugar - parent as concerned about the food quality as you certainly can come up with a healthier breakfasts for their kids?
- jasonkester 3y agoI’m not. As I said, I’m feeding them beans. Low sugar beans if possible. The point is that I want to be able to buy “food” without this garbage in it. It’s a pretty crap precedent to allow it in anything other than explicitly labelled “diet” food.
- ivanhoe 3y agoI see sugar and HFCS added to salty foods as a much bigger problem because you literally have no way of guessing it's there. FruitLoops and similar cereals are sweet, it's pretty obvious it has either sugar or artificial sweetener added.
