AI Writing Is Dead
- aasthaj 3y agoAI writing is bland. It does not make me think. It is dead writing. An essay on how important new ideas are lost when writing is outsourced to AI. Writing is not a goal oriented process of dumping your thoughts on paper. The act of writing itself generates new ideas that define your essay. (Paul Graham discusses this) Writing allows you to find unity in variety and link different ideas together. This is because humans are not one-dimensional. They are creative. They are disobedient. AI is not disobedient. Writing allows me to be creative and disobedient, magnifying the search for unity in variety.

- WheelsAtLarge 3y agoThe prompt makes all the difference. Give ChatGPT the right prompt and you'll be able to see a large change in quality. Yes, it can be dead but many times it will surprise you.
