Because Hashicorp will implement features in Terraform under BSL which people will request on your fork.
It's hard to avoid people contributing similar or identical code, and thus violating the BSL license.
- fishnchips 3y agoTwo points here. One - the burden of proof lies on the accuser, obviously. Two - this has apparently never been tested in court.
