I’ve spend the last 2 week visiting a friend working in a “estive”, a altitude fields designed for cow grazing in summer. They roam freely 24/7 in a mix of forest & grass. It take a solid hour to go around it by foot. It’s maybe 30 of them ? They do stick together, true. But they have a lot of space.
