Leak of 75k employee records was insiders' fault, claims Tesla
- 2OEH8eoCRo0 3y agoThis says that Tesla has filed a lawsuit against the two employee leakers. Where can I find the lawsuit so that I can give it a skim?
- kalupa 3y agowas it really their "fault" if the records weren't properly stored that the insiders could get access to it?
- olliej 3y agoThe problem is that the information was accessible by people without any valid business reason: * one of the leakers is a technician, so shouldn't have had access to employee records in the first place * bulk downloads of any of the data should not have been possible, and trying to do so manually should have started tripping alarms and access restrictions
