Simplicity has many fathers while complexity is an orphan. No? This just seems like a hopeless thing to discuss because everyone says that they want simplicity (or at least: not complexity) but then nobody will admit to being the root cause of some specific kind of complexity; if someone has made something “complex” then it was because they needed something to work with something else that was complex (pragmatism).
