- pohl 3y agoThink of the rate of jostles. On a bicycle, the device will be perturbed when you hit a bump in the road. Worst case would be mountain biking, probably. On a motorcycle, without dampening, the perturbations would be measured in Hz, and imparted from the moment the engine starts, even while idling without going anywhere.

- ubermonkey 3y agoPeak HN right here. Motorcycles have motors. Motorcycles vibrate A LOT, cyclically, and constantly. It's FAR more of a thing than the mild jostling you'll get on a bicycle. I mean, just think about it.
- numpad0 3y agoI don't know, motorcycle engines can be designed to be well balanced and mounted on dampers. Meanwhile there are lots of bicycles without suspensions. Apples and oranges are both fruits with considerable fructose contents.
- dwighttk 3y agowhat are your roads like!?
- ubermonkey 3y agoI DO know. It's not comparable. Motorcycles vibrate significantly more than bicycles. Other people are telling you the same thing.
- stouset 3y agoMotorcycles vibrate. A lot. I’m guessing you’ve never been on one? Having ridden both extensively, comparing their vibration to that a bicycle is almost comical.
