- ggm 3y ago6 of the 10 are in the asia-pacific. one is in europe. the rest are in the USA. "the bay area" is probably understood to be equivalent, but its not a single city in the way Hong Kong or Shanghai are, I guess you could argue "the new territories" is not exactly a city and "singapore" is an island-state. It looks to be a per-capita measure. If you upped the density of the US locations to match HK and Shanghai, I suspect the rich list dimension might change a bit. I was surprised Zurich didn't make the list.
