Well .. if you hire people solely based on leetcode style interviews, this is what you get.
Or maybe this is the fate of the industry gorilla? The other company that falls in this relaxed camp is Microsoft. I am sure there are others.

- VirusNewbie 3y agoG definitely doesn't only hire on LC style interviews. It's just a component of it. I also don't think most people are slacking at G. I'd assume most people put in 40 hours a week, many 45 or more, and some maybe in the 30. This is just a bad manager. Likely this person would have been PIPed after the next review cycle. G is slow to get rid of bad people, but unless you have a a bad manager, it'll happen if you're only doing one thing a week.
