- bityard 3y agoIn my personal experience, writing "fragile" on a box is the best way to get it yeeted across the shipping warehouse or stuck on the bottom of an 800-pound stack of packages. Joking aside, the USPS and package couriers are not required to (and in most cases cannot) treat any kind of package more carefully than the others based on "fragile" notices and product descriptions on the box itself. Notices are required for certain kinds of potentially dangerous items, but other than that, the safety of your items is entirely up to how well they are packaged.
