It makes sense to me to have a system like this in a platform like Twitter. Though if it's falsely flagging new genuine accounts then the system definitely needs a revision. But to completely delete it? It seems like they're just going to end up re-inventing it. Seems better to simply take what exists and work on it, and change the name if you don't like it, though I honestly couldn't care less what the system is called internally.
