- _lvbh 3y agoNow is a good time to take a look at what Chinese citizens are doing to circumvent governmental censorship & surveillance. Refer to Trojan-gfw/V2ray/xray-core. They are well tested within an environment much more hostile than the west and should thus work just fine. For messaging, self host or use a matrix instance outside of UK jurisdiction so that Big Tech cannot secretly weaken encryption without your knowledge.
- _lvbh 3y ago“If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear” Thus standing out from the crowd by using a traditional VPN makes you suspicious. Routing all your traffic through a single IP is also indicative of an obfuscated VPN. My current setup: Tun2socksn -> local host socks5 proxy -> multiple outbound xray instances routed through different CDNs (or not) to make traffic look “normal” Which outbound a specific IP takes is randomized and cached for 1 hour.
