There's no details sadly. A previous project was working with Duracell https://www.tabb.me/#/new-page-1/ https://www.tabb.me/#/new-page-1/ "These posts eared hundreds of thousands of views, and thousands of followers. While I can’t share more about this project at the moment..." and I don't see they were shared later either.
So could this printer project be sponsored by HP?
- ttttt10 3y agoMaybe should have waited to post until I made a writeup haha. But, basically the primary hardware is a modified hand-held inkjet printer (princubestore.com). Modified in that the enclosure is removed to allow more space for a foot. It's still not the roomiest, but it is wearable. The base shoe is a converse mid-top sneaker. The sneaker is basically a plain white chuck, but I've added custom vinyl to make it feel more printer-like. The colorful tubes are purely aesthetic, I wanted to give the shoes a bit of a hype-beast sneaker-head vibe. The concept is really around the idea of creating an absurdist fictional brand collab that would never happen IRL. In this case a shoe company and printer company :]
