Would you believe, my Irish ISP blocks piratebay access.
- jrockway 15y agoDNS, IP blackhole, or "transparent" proxy? All are trivial to defeat. Filtering the Internet is nearly impossible unless you block it all.
- Luyt 15y agoSame here, both my providers Xs4all and Ziggo were ordered by a Dutch judge to block thepiratebay.org, an initiative of MPAA sockpuppet 'BREIN foundation'. See http://www.xs4all.nl/geblokkeerd/ http://www.xs4all.nl/geblokkeerd/ I know that it can be easily circumvented, but this shouldn't be necessary. These censoring attempts should stop.
