Good explanation of cluster A B and C here [1]
However a greatly simplified way of summarizing it is:
Cluster A types are loner/detached types.
Cluster B types are aggressive/manipulative types.
Cluster C types are nervous/anxious/ocd type people.
Killers from A and B are distinctly different, have different MOs, etc. You don't tend to see a lot of cluster C killers... And she seems to fit type C more than the other two (my armchair diagnosis).

- keepamovin 3y agoInteresting thanks! Is it a stretch to say A was made by neglectful household B made by abusive household C are maybe just “normal”?
- Obscurity4340 3y agoA and B are rarely non-comorbid so not sure that tracks
- keepamovin 3y agoWell I think that could track because you could have a neglectful AND abusive household. Probably pretty common actually, in the set of bad places to grow up.
- Obscurity4340 3y agoThat's actually what I meant, poor wording on my part. I just meant they are usually present together rather than one or the other.

- lordfrito 3y agoI'd say it's a big stretch to suggest that. Personality disorders are just that, disorders. So your theory about Cluster C being just "normal" doesn't acknowledge the fact that these types of behaviors are considered maladaptive, create functional problems, causing stress and disability. There are a variety of causes. Childhood abuse/neglect is a big one, but other factors such as genetics, environment, and life traumas both mental (such as losing a parent) and physical (head/brain injury) also play a role. It's not just related to childhood development, as adults have been known to develop disorders later in life. I suggest you read up on the different types of personality disorders to get a flavor for what's being discussed here. You can find links from the Wikipedia article. - keepamovin 3y agoThanks. No I agree with you that C is "not really" normal, I just meant that, people who have that don't consider themsleves, "Crazy" or "sick", in the sense that anxiety/OCD are very common. I mean I'm not sure if you mean a super extreme version of those, but yeah, any version of those causes suffering.
