Subarus have had frameless windows for decades and don't have this problem.
- expertentipp 3y agoI don't think Tesla invented frameless car windows. I'm certain there are at least 50 years old car models with purely mechanical frameless car windows, but I'm too lazy to open wikipedia.
- Turskarama 3y agoNobody claimed they invented frameless windows, but I am going to claim (without doing due diligence) that they invented the frameless window that must be automatically wound down before the door can be opened.
- expertentipp 3y agoI will furtherly speculate that they own at least dozen of patents for this technology.

- ryder666 3y agoNope, at least Audi A5 from 2007 has frameless windows that lower automatically when you start opening the door.
