Anyone else miss when a Chromebook was just a portable browser as a companion device and not a bloated fully windowing operating system trying to punch about 20 times above its weight?
I miss the CR48 era ChromeOS. It was so much cleaner and simpler.

Of course the issue is for most everything it's just not as good as native, but for somethings it's very close. My biggest complaint is the move away from unofficial Crouton to Crostini. There is now Chromebrew though which let's you run some Linux stuff natively.
