- NoZebra120vClip 3y agoOh god, I know we've progressed beyond employing "food tasters" for kings, but this lady should've had someone in her retinue who knows the local culture and could've stayed her hand. This is an embarrassing gaffe of ignorance, and it casts doubt on the entire diplomacy's effectiveness. Knowing stuff about China is basically how they earn a living, yeah? The funny thing is that this seemed to gain a lot less traction than Bush vomiting over sushi, which was simply a human being human.
