- saltymug76 3y agoCrypto, being decentralized, would probably not fall under the data center category. I'd be interested to see the percentage on its own though.
- why_only_15 3y agoThere are (or at least used to be) a number of datacenters filled with crypto mining equipment.
- jowea 3y agoWouldn't we need to take into account all networking infrastructure, computer industry and consumer electricity consumption to see the price of the information economy?
- ChatGTP 3y agoAll that high value Instagram scrolling. I bet the internet could be still highly useful without all r the surveillance capitalism and use 0.5 or less emissions.
