I almost never drive 500 miles in a day, but I coach a nationally competitive sports team and tournaments are frequently 250 to 300 miles from where i live. Even at 100 miles i would be uncomfortable to drive to the tournament without knowing that a level 3 charger was available and functional at my hotel. Is any home charger able to filling recharge a car overnight? My impression is that even level 2 home chargers really only keep relatively charged cars topped up.
