Bit late knowing that Starlink exists.
- neilalexander 3y agoMakes absolutely zero difference whether Starlink exists or not. These companies are still subject to laws on the ground and if they don’t want to comply, they will simply be refused regulatory approval to operate.

- neilalexander 3y agoAre you kidding? Literally all someone in government has to do is to buy a Starlink subscription and see whether or not it allows them to do something the regulations shouldn’t allow them to do. They could also just refuse Starlink a license to operate in that country unless they can prove by audit that certain measures are being taken. Or they could just refuse a license to operate regardless.
