Imagine circumstances that incentivize stay-at-home parenthood, and deprecate double-income career spouses. Amazing.
Not so long ago, it was customary among the idle rich to hire nannies, and even wet nurses, to raise their children, no matter how idle the rich parents were. Arguably, this was pretty good for employment, because of the small nanny:child ratio.
- CraigRo 3y agoThe anti discrimination laws have been extended to encompass nannies and day card, and you've got a ton of scamming lawyers encouraging extremely poor women to sue their employees because the legal fees are so costly that it forces settlement. Guess who pays for this
