OP wrote something about the bank's name on the title. Did the OP have a correct title in hand? Without that, the car was not (yet) their legal property.

- anonymousiam 3y agoJust because Tesla screwed up and sent the title to the bank, it doesn't mean that the owner didn't own the car. I had the same thing happen to me when I paid cash for a new car in 1991. The cashier's check was drawn from my bank and Honda wrongly assumed that the bank had loaned me the money. It took me three months to get the title from my bank.
