- shkkmo 3y agoHumans make mistakes too, but the kinds of mistakes tend to be different.
- pessimizer 3y agoYou can usually speculate concrete, material motives for what humans are saying, and within that context figure out what people are most likely to lie about, and/or pay little attention to the truth of. LLMs have no reason to be speaking; they speak because they were invoked. LLMs also have no special reason to lie; they lie for the same reasons they tell the truth.
