I remember when I was a kid like 8 or 9 years old I use to run this thought experiment in my head: what if the whole world was going to explode but 1 person could save it by sacrificing their life? Would someone volunteer? Would I? If this article is true, I wonder if society starts to re-think suicide morality. Could people apply to be "saviors" and sign up to um, "exit" this world as a hero? No more all alone have to pick your terrible method.
