I applaude to the use of the bicycle, but does the stuff you order online arrive to your place via Star Trek transporter like or is there a truck delivering it to your doorstep?
The truck probably creates the same or more tire dust than your car.
Now, if you had someone delivering your goods on foot or bicycle ...
- Euphorbium 3y agoDelivery by camels or donkeys is the next uber.
- ChatGTP 3y agoSnide , unimaginative comment and not how I feel at all. One delivery truck can take hundreds of cars off the road. Doesn’t that sound good ?
- jaclaz 3y agoIt depends. If you do your weekly grocery shopping online and you have it delivered at your home, it may save a few cars worth off the road. If you order five different small (readily available locally) items on Amazon and each of them is delivered to you by a different courier not so much.
