The bet on AI didn’t work out: Bing’s share of the search market isn’t growing
- not_your_vase 3y agoToday and the past 2-3 years have been the perfect time to attack Google's monopoly regarding searches. Their results have never had worse quality - but if you try to take them over with the same crap results but with AI, then I got some bad news for you. Back then PageRank was a genius idea, and I still think it is - would be interesting to see how it would perform today, if someone would implement whatever Google had 20 years ago...
- jqpabc123 3y agoIn other words, the world is still waiting for some sign of "intelligence" from AI. Making word salad from ingredients found on the internet isn't it.
