As usual I feel I have to defend leetcode, despite the problems you can read in other comments. I learned a lot doing those problems, and they gave me the chance to demonstrate my talent and dedication directly, despite my resume in an adjacent field. Leetcode may be necessary, but in my case it certainly wasn't sufficient, and I am ultimately very happy with having done it.
