T-Mobile home internet port forwarding for free
- johnklos 3y agoThis is in no way specific to T-Mobile but can be used for any ISP / with any device that doesn't allow port forwarding. It's just a simple port forward over ssh, which means no software installation is necessary (except perhaps on Windows). One shortcoming is that pinggy doesn't appear to use IPv6. All IPv4 on T-Mobile Home Internet is over CG-NAT, of course, but IPv6 isn't, so IPv6 connections don't time out after six or so minutes. This would be an excellent way to rent single static IPs without all the waste that comes from creating a separate subnet per address, particularly since most routers (looking at you, Cisco) still don't support /31 or not using the zeroth address in a subnet.
