The Ashes is a bit passe, the Women's world cup has huge novelty and locality factors
- smackeyacky 3y agoThe Ashes is finished. Unlikeable players, gambling scandals, cheating scandals and the general disinterest in cricket as a mainstream sport did it in. They play too many games for anybody to retain any kind of specialness the ashes used to have and too much of it is locked up on pay TV and sponsored by gambling companies. I just can't bring myself to watch it any more.
