Let's go America, get rid of the cancer.
- jfengel 3y agoBut he's not the cancer. He's one of the prominent systems, but the cancer runs much, much deeper. He received 75 million votes in 2020, more than anybody in American history (except his opponent). Even if he disappears tomorrow, those 75 million people are looking for somebody reading from the same playbook. There are several candidates who want to fulfill that role, and a large number of politicians at every level who want to follow it as well. His is not forcing himself upon the Republican party. They want him, and his style of politics. They could have impeached him, without losing control of the White House, but chose not to. They like what he is doing. We can "get rid" of him, but we can't get rid of the actual problem.
