80% of execs regret calling employees back to the office

  "We have expensive real estate. And if they're only utilized 30 percent of the time, we have to be careful in how we think about it." Isn't this the sunk-cost-fallacy or something like that? If people perform better working from home does it have anything to do with under-utilized office-space? Forcing the employees back to the office does hide the fact that there is underutilized office-space, but does that make any business-sense?
