Maker faire. Encompasses anything from art to software, woodworking, 3D printing & more. Also fun for ppl who aren't into the "making" part, but enjoy playing with hands-on / interactive exhibits, asking creators how they did it, or get new inspiration. This mixes nicely with workshops, small contests (eg. a powertool race, where old powertools / motors ripped from various junk, are repurposed to race each other), or other educational / fun stuff.
