- Zetice 3y agoMaybe one reason you're struggling to find a job is that you can't understand that just because something is effecting you doesn't mean it's a larger problem for many people...

- CoastalCoder 3y agoI'm sorry, that sucks. I've been out for nearly 5 months now, and I'm starting to feel anxious about my domain-specific knowledge fading / getting stale. I'm hoping to stave that off via interview prep and practicing coding problems. But I'm wondering how long it is before hiring managers start to assume my knowledge / skills have atrophied. I'm starting to appreciate the old saying, "It's easier to get a job when you have a job."
