- JohnFen 3y agoAnd there's no such thing as a "proprietary color" in the sense of one that nobody can use or describe. You can have colors as trademarks (UPS brown, for instance), but that's entirely different and doesn't prevent others from using that color. You can have proprietary methods of creating a color, but that's about the method, not the color itself (Vanta black, for instance).
