>Metal additives from the manufacturing process are causing cancer
Just a guess, plastics are pretty stable, its the additives that are the cancer causing parts.
- throwawayoaky 3y agoIt’s the additives that leach from plastics, this is now common knowledge. And yeah chromium and nickel are bad for you too. Aluminum is bad for you too but it forms a stable oxide layer. Cast iron is the way. Can we stop the whataboutism or are we all smokers here too?
- ycombinete 3y agoAs I understand it microplastics are harmful in and of themselves.
- moffkalast 3y agoIn what way? Afaik it's all inert, otherwise we'd all be dead by now given how much we drink, eat, and inhale it.
