The recent criticism of Linus Tech Tips
- netruk44 3y agoIn addition to their missteps regarding being flat-out wrong in their technical reviews, one of LTT's recent employees has recently come out about why she left and it has made clear to me just how abhorrent LTT's behavior has become in recent years. If you haven't read her story, I would encourage you to do so [0]. Maybe their new CEO can help right the ship that Linus has so narrow-mindedly piloted thus far, but I won't be around to see it. I've unsubscribed from their channel and have told YouTube to no longer recommend it to me. - rasz 3y ago>According to Linus Tech Tips writer Adam Sonedergard, who assisted on the test, the manufacturer said the device would work with a 4090 card later published Billet Labs email states "might work, havent tested", they did test since then and this particular card LTT used has components sticking out preventing waterblock from touching GPU core. Something any YT tech reviewer would spot immediately, but Linus knows better! Linus "We wanted no one to buy it", then they proceeded SELLING it to someone. Linus "we wanted Billet to make something marketable (so they can, y'know, eat).", hard to eat when tech reviewers steal your property and sell it on the side. Linus "we didn't 'sell' the Monoblock, but rather auctioned it", what do auctioneers say after "three, two, one" when striking the hammer? do they shout "auctioned"? "borrowed"? maybe "manifested"? one will never know...
