Lolz, by the time you investigate React, i already produced tons of production React applications to the customers. So, who cares about that "Web component is awesome" ? Just use React and grab the money. React "simulated the DOM" into minimal surface API for busy devs to use and be productive. That's the whole point. Seriously, i don't trust the DOM at all. They're not 1 standard, they behave differently on different browsers. React is 1 standard to me.
