Welcome to the club. Just send an email to dang@yc and he can change your username. Deleting entire accounts and comments would severely break the HN database, so don’t lose any sleep over it.
- kitanata 3y agoI do not want to change my username. I want to delete MY comments and MY account. I don’t care if this “breaks your database” or not. It wasn’t a problem for LinkedIn to delete my account and data. It wasn’t a problem for Twitter. It wasn’t a problem for Facebook. Why is it a problem for you? Delete my comments, then delete my account. All of it. Not just a rename. I was here. I contributed for a bit. Now I want to leave, and I don’t want any part of me to stay. Delete it all, now.
- boredemployee 3y agoCould HN be sued under any laws for not allowing ppl to delete their own shit?
- boredemployee 3y ago>> Deleting entire accounts and comments would severely break the HN database Why is that tho?
