They are all getting more expensive and all losing quality content. It is becoming increasingly hard to find a specific show I want to watch. Sometimes it’s on Netflix, other times Hulu. Sometimes something I want to watch isn’t even being streamed. It’s just massively confusing.
- thfuran 3y agoAnd they're low bitrate and often come with arcane restrictions on what device you can view it on without getting stuck with even lower bit rate.

I get pretty much all the content from Netflix/Hulu/Prime/AppleTV/Paramount+/etc. from the same source. Usually at the max resolution/bitrate that my equipment can display. What's more, I don't have to deal with dark patterns or regular subscription price increases either.
- happymellon 3y agoIt would be great if we could go back. I don't mind having multiple services, we used to have that 10 years ago with Netflix and a couple of the TV networks. The incoherent interface would be better if we could just have Boxee back.
