Tell HN: Thank you to the kind stranger for making the hacker.news redirect
The hacker.news redirect has saved me countless ammount of times of typing out news.ycombinator.com on mobile, so thank you to this kind person that made this redirect.
- NKosmatos 3y agoHey nice, I didn’t know hacker.news even existed. I use bookmarks, browser autocomplete and browser suggestions. I’m not saying that whoever registered the url has bad intentions, but in the strange times we’re living we should be wary/cautious of redirects. If I owned hacker.news I would contact dang and let him know about this new url in order to endorse it officially, or even better I would gift it to the HN community ;-)
