Mobile phone use and the risk of acoustic neuroma (2004)
- ggm 3y agoThe great thing about mobile phones now is that call by name is not the same as call by value: they're called phones but the least frequent use is to hold the RF emitter next to the auditory nerve. Their value to us is to do other things. I doubt if enough RF leaks from Bluetooth earpieces anyway which is how many people listen to them. Judging by ill mannered louts I see in public, even when phoning the use model is speakerphone. Why people do this is beyond me, perhaps it's influenced by videocalls. I wish they'd stop.
